Christmas Store Displays

New York City loves a good display, and Christmas bring out the jolly and creative window displays along Fifth Avenue, and around, at all the top department stores. We stopped by Saks Fifth Avenue and waited in line to see this year's windows. If holiday fun hadn't already won us over, it would have at that moment. We saw whimsical snow globes flipping about, lovely scenes from winter and Christmases of past decades, a video camera capturing faces of those in the crowd and displaying the footage in 3D kaleidoscope-like patterns on an old-era tv, other brilliant kaleidoscope designs and crystals all aglow, and some creepy-looking animatronic children - yikes! (Maybe they were just old antique-y looking and adorable at one time, but, whatever.) All in all, it was super cool! And we have many more store displays yet to see.

Rows, rows, and rows of snow globes.

Getting shaken, not stirred.

A fashionable Christmas.
