It's Christmas time in the city...

Since the beginning of winter, we've been delighted to see the way that New York City transforms itself into a Christmas wonderland seemingly overnight. Every street corner and store display turns from crisp autumn browns and yellows into spirit-filled Christmas reds, greens, and snowfall whites. The main attraction for Christmas displays in New York is the busy thoroughfare, Fifth Avenue. It's right next to Rockefeller Center, so a stroll through Midtown Manhattan with a warm eggnog flavored latte, a thick wool scarf and loved one to hold close can make for a charming New York evening.

Now all we need is some fluffy snowfall and it truly would a winter wonderland.

The mighty Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center.
A gift wrapped building.

A building behind Grand Central Terminal lit up for the holidays.

Saks on Fifth Avenue had a light show projected on the side of their building.

Yeti sighting!

A twinkling star to guide the way.
